Who we are
StatusTrail (“the App”) is provided by Lucas REYGROBELLET (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
The short version
StatusTrail runs entirely inside monday.com in your browser. It reads your board data to calculate time-in-status reports and stores those calculations in monday's own app storage. We operate no servers of our own, and your board data never leaves monday's infrastructure. We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.
What the App accesses
- Board data (read-only). Under monday's
boards:readpermission, the App reads item names, status columns, People columns, status-change history (activity logs) and subitems on the boards where you use it, only to compute your reports. It never modifies your boards. - Account context. monday provides the App with basic context (board id, the current user's id and timezone, your subscription tier) so it can display and gate features correctly.
What we store, and where
Everything the App saves about your boards goes into monday's built-in app storage (the
monday.storage service), inside monday's infrastructure under your account, not on
any server we control. We keep no separate copy. There are five kinds of record, and nothing
else:
- Computed status-duration data. The report cache: for each interval, the item id, the status, and the start and end timestamps, plus a small index recording which columns are cached, when they last synced and how the cache is split. This is what makes reports fast and lets history build up over time.
- Your view's display preferences. Which status columns you picked, the date range, your business-hours calendar, subitem mode, cycle start and end statuses, density, which columns you hid and any SLA thresholds you set.
- A small display snapshot. Board and column titles, status labels and item names, and the titles of People columns, all of it already visible on the board itself, kept so a report can render before it refreshes. Plus a one-bit flag recording that you have seen the welcome guide.
- Saved views. The name you give a saved view and the display preferences it holds.
- Acknowledgements. When someone acknowledges an item in Needs attention: the column, the item id, its status and when that status started. They are shared with everyone who opens the report on that board.
Separately, your browser remembers whether you collapsed the Flow card: one on/off value in this browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
No names of people, email addresses, user ids, profiles, credentials or session data are stored. The People tab reads who is assigned from the board each time you open the report and keeps it only in memory.
What we do NOT collect
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, cookies or trackers. The only telemetry is monday's own platform events (e.g.
valueCreatedForUser, used by monday for marketplace trial tracking), which stay inside monday. - No transfer of your board data to us or to any third party.
- No special-category or payment data: billing is handled entirely by monday.com.
Sub-processors
The App is hosted on monday.com's own app CDN and uses monday.com's storage. monday.com is therefore the sole processor of data handled by the App. See monday.com's privacy policy for how they process data on their platform.
Data retention & deletion
Computed report data persists in monday's app storage while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, monday removes its app storage for your account; any residual App data is permanently deleted within 10 days, in line with monday's marketplace requirements. You can also request deletion at any time via the contact email above.
Your rights
Because we hold no independent copy of your data, requests to access, correct or delete data are generally fulfilled through monday.com. We will assist with any request sent to the contact email and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (including the GDPR where it applies).
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change and material updates will be noted on this page.
